I've had enough!

I've had enough of mashing dérailleurs...

I've had enough of leaking suspension...

I've had enough of falling off....

I've had enough of being slow...

Apparently, this is the answer to my problems...

A fully rigid, 29" size wheel, single speed....

I can get myself one of these for not very much money courtesy of my bike shop owning father in law...

Wot do you reckon?

HOT or NOT?

Good to see you are blogging again Dave! WIth regards to 26 vs 29, I am no expert, but did demo a 29'er for a few hours. Surprisingly, I loved it! It was a Kona 2-9, which is a hardtail with 3-4 inch fork. Was able to climb stuff I can not clear on my full suss (26) Intense 6.6 or Giant NSR. That thing just rolled over roots and rocks, and made me forget I was on a hardtail. Try it, sure you will love it. And if not, well, you still need a few more toys every now and then, so just get it anyway!

I like the steel frame and the big wheels. Wouldn't it make more sense to get a little suspension on this puppy? I'm guessing a teenager would like it, but anyone over 30 needs a little padding, don't you think? My two cents. Peace, Dustin
