Yes, yes I know and I apologise to my millions of fans that have been waiting for the next installment of GroovingFungus. Well a lot has happened since my last post, the biggest news of which has been the end of my gainful employment with DHL.
Logically this should have provided me with more than enough time to blog frequently, hey every hour if I felt like it. But as we all know, logic has little to do with life and instead I have been "getting my shit together".......as someone famous once said.
So with all this time off I've had I have developed a rather special relationship with my wife, and more importantly my wife's dog. This has given me some rather amazing insights into why dogs are a MAN's best friend.......
A DOG doesn't care if you mountain bike every day
A DOGS parents will never visit you (sorry Mum& Dad2)
A DOG loves you leaving clothes on the floor
A DOG limits time in the bathroom to a quick drink
A DOG never expects you to telephone
A DOG will not get mad if you forget its birthday
A DOG does not care about the previous DOGS in you life
A DOG does not get mad if you stroke another DOG
A DOG never expects flowers
The later you are, the happier a DOG is to see you
and my personal favorite....
A DOG does not shop!
