This was taken by my buddy Per who will be moving to Vancouver next year. His house is located in Deep Cove which is a) where the Cove bike shop is located (Pat is riding a Cove bike in this photo) b) A stones throw away from the North shore trails and c) about an hour's drive from Whistler.
He is a very, very lucky man.....and I am jealous.....

All I did this weekend was a 60k road ride round the village on my newly calibrated road bike (yes it does make a difference) my wheels didn't even touch dirt.
I was going to go scuba diving and get a ride in at Santa Rosa but it just poured and poured with rain. I never remember the Philippines being this wet last time I was here.
Just to cheer me up a bit, here is a photo of a girl with no clothes on..........
This is of course the famous Marla Streb who became a professional Downhill Mountain Biker at 28 and is still going strong.
She's pretty awesome and became a mother...or Mom...as they say in the US a few months ago.
She has a great book out called "Downhill" its about her life as a professional mountain biker. A must read for anyone who rides. The tattoo on her arse is from her win at the Singlespeed world champs.

Dude, I am worried about you!! All this talk about 'road-biking', and then you get excited about what you say is a nude girl, but what really looks like some freak that has taken too much stereoids. And regarding my house in North Van, you forgot to mention that there is a good ski-hill 15 min up the road (Seymour)....I am moving in Mid December, so will be taking bookings from Jan 1st....
